10 Garage Doors For Fox Valley Habitat For Humanity

February 12, 2014 | Posted in Door Fun | By aaadoorteks
AAA DoorTeks & Fox Valley Habitat For Humanity have paired up to supply low-income families in the Fox Valley area with community-built, sustainable housing. AAA DoorTeks has agreed to supply 10 residential garage doors for houses to be built Spring 2014. “We are so fortunate to have a community organization like this near Geneva” explained Dan Ross, co-owner of AAA DoorTeks. “Fox Valley Habitat For Humanity has contributed $3 million in property taxes and spent over $5 million in building costs, which really boosts the economy in our community. The families that move into these homes put in over 500 hours on someone else’s home before they acquire a Habitat For Humanity house. FVHFH also reports that they have only had 1 foreclosure in over 22 years; this was an opportunity for support we could just not pass up” Ross notes.
